BE IT RESOLVED THAT the on-going planning project list, as presented by the Planner on September 8, 2022, be received and filed.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receive and file report Z-04-2022 for zoning amendment related to subdivision application 050-S-09-004 on PLAN 35 LOTS 40 TO 49 AND;LOTS 50 TO 71 PT VICTORIA ST;PT STERLING ST AND RP;46R7095 PARTS 3 AND 6, and, PLAN 35 PT VICTORIA ST PT;STERLING ST RP 46R7095 PARTS;1 2 4 5 AND 7, and, PLAN 35 LOTS 40 TO 49 AND;LOTS 50 TO 71 PT VICTORIA ST;PT STERLING ST AND RP;46R7095 PARTS 3 AND 6, and, W HAWKESBURY CON 6 PT LOT 7;PLAN 35 LOTS 99 TO 105 PT;LOT 115 S MILL ST RP 46R7007;PT PART 1, formerly in the Township of Vankleek Hill, now in the Township of Champlain, in the County of Prescott; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Council gives Third and Final Reading of By-law 2022-54.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the third reading and final passage be granted By-law 2022-54 being a by-law to amend the Zoning By-law 2000-75 for Cliftondale Subdivision.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the monthly Fire Department Report for August 2022, as submitted by the Director of Fire Services, be received and filed.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the monthly Recreation Report for August 2022, as submitted by the Director of Parks & Recreation, be received and filed.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the monthly Public Works report for August 2022 as submitted by the Director of Public Works be received and filed.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the monthly Building Department report for August 2022, as submitted by the Chief Building Official, be received and filed.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the monthly By-Law Enforcement report for August 2022, as submitted by the By-Law Enforcement Officer, be received and filed.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the monthly Daycare report for August 2022, as submitted by the Director of Daycare Services, be received and filed.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the Joint Recycling Committee meeting of August 22, 2022 be received and filed.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the report for the months of June, July and August 2022 of the Champlain Township Public Library Board as submitted by the Head Librarian, be received and filed.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve the minutes of the following meetings: • Public meeting – August 11, 2022;and • Regular meeting – August 11, 2022 as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT three readings and final passage be granted By-Law 2022-57, being a by-law to establish an electronic monitoring policy for the Township of Champlain.

WHEREAS the Municipal Act, 2001, Section 259 (1) (c) states that the office of a member of council of a municipality becomes vacant if the member is absent from the meetings of Council for three successive months without being authorized to do so by a resolution of Council; BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council authorizes the motivated absence of Councillor Jacques Lacelle for the remainder of the current term of Council.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT three readings and final passage be given By-Law 2022-59, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council at its meeting of September 8, 2022.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council adjourn until October 13, 2022, at the Champlain Township Hall Council chambers at 7:00 p.m. or at the call of the Mayor or Clerk.
